You will collect data while in the field (we’ll talk about this) and you will use a number of geospatial tools to assist in your analysis of each area as well as the presentation of your recommendations. Each evening we will have some time set aside to use these tools. You will be able to incorporate images, video and links to websites in your work. Your Google Account details will be needed to upload and store these files online.
Your Google Earth tour should:
- identify any planning issues/challenges in Warriewood relevant Ingleside's future development.
- communicate the important outcomes from your liveability study of Warriewood and Ingleside.
- illustrate your planning recommendations
- include data such as text, links, images and video to make your tour more engaging.
The criteria we developed during our discussion this morning included:
- infrastructure (roads, services, library, sporting facilities, educational etc)
- aesthetic appeal
- natural environment - green space
- risk management
- accessibility
- cost - SEIFA
- land use conflict
